Magnetic coagulation and sedimentation technology
Technical Features:
- High treatment efficiency; sedimentation rate is 3-5 times faster than traditional coagulation processes, significantly reducing sedimentation tank volume.
- Magnetic powder recovery rate can reach over 95%, with low reagent consumption and low operating costs.
- Strong resistance to shock loads; good adaptability to wastewater with high turbidity, high color, and containing difficult-to-settle suspended solids.
- High degree of automation; simple operation and maintenance; can be directly integrated into existing water treatment processes for upgrading.
Description
It is a highly efficient water treatment technology that integrates magnetic flocculation and coagulation sedimentation. By adding magnetic powder and flocculant to the water, the adsorption and weight-increasing effect of the magnetic powder is used to enhance the coagulation and sedimentation effect, thereby achieving rapid solid-liquid separation. It is widely used in sewage upgrading, reclaimed water reuse, and tap water purification.
Working principle:
Special magnetic powder is added to the coagulation system. The magnetic powder combines with flocculant and suspended solids in the water to form magnetic flocs. Because the density of magnetic flocs is much higher than that of ordinary flocs, they can settle quickly in the sedimentation tank, greatly shortening the sedimentation time. After settling, the magnetic flocs are transported to the magnetic separation equipment through the sludge return system to achieve efficient separation of magnetic powder and sludge. The magnetic powder can be recycled, while the sludge enters the subsequent dewatering stage.
Core components:
The complete magnetic coagulation treatment system mainly includes a reagent dosing unit (magnetic powder, flocculant, coagulant aid), a mixing and reaction unit, a magnetic flocculation sedimentation unit, a magnetic powder recovery unit, a sludge treatment unit, and an automatic control system. Each unit is integrated into a single design, requiring minimal space.
